Hogwarts Legacy delivers a wide array of magical challenges, but few environmental challenges test a player's spatial awareness quite like the secret puzzle chambers hidden inside the castle walls. Once you complete the primary quest related to Herodiana, you unlock access to advanced trial rooms that require precise spellcasting. This comprehensive walkthrough provides the tactical steps needed to successfully conquer the second Depulso chamber and claim its hidden treasures.

Locating the Secret Entrance

Finding the entrance to this specific challenge room requires you to travel deep into the Astronomy Wing of the castle. You should begin by fast traveling to the Transfiguration Classroom Floo Flame to set a reliable starting point. From there, follow the nearby corridor until you spot a specialized stone switch embedded directly into the wall architecture.

Equip the Depulso force spell to activate the ancient mechanical trigger. Hitting the designated object with your magic causes the massive stone wall to slowly shift, revealing a dark passageway leading straight down into the trial chamber. Step through the archway to officially begin the mechanical trial.

Solving the First Chest Puzzle

Upon entering the main room, you will notice an expansive layout filled with metallic block structures that react to your kinetic spells. Your immediate objective is to safely navigate a path toward the first auxiliary treasure chest positioned on the left side of the room. You must coordinate your force pushes and pulling spells to create a stable platforming bridge.

Cast Accio to pull the main central block cluster closer to your current position. Next, target the adjacent L-shaped block structure with Depulso to drive it flush against the left wall. You can then climb up the newly arranged platforms to open the containment box and claim your initial piece of gear.

Navigating the Main Room Solution

With the first collection item secured, you must now reset the environment to focus on reaching the opposite side of the chamber. Look down from the ledge and cast your basic cast on the glowing golden cube to completely restore all blocks to their original starting positions. This mechanical reset is essential before you attempt to construct the primary walkway toward the exit door.

Pull the large central stone block across the floor grid toward the main entry platform using a direct Accio casting. You will then need to slide the massive block pillar from the right wall directly into the path of the central block. This calculated maneuver links the metallic pieces together, forming a much larger moving platform that can support your character weight.

Reaching the Final Exit Ledge

The final phase of the chamber requires you to move this newly combined block array toward the exit balcony located high above the floor. Use Depulso on the merged metallic blocks to push them entirely to the far side of the room. This repositioning allows you to bridge the massive physical gap that previously prevented you from advancing.

Climb onto the lower stone steps near the back wall to gain a height advantage over the moving cubes. Jump across the gap onto the large platform you constructed, then pull yourself up to the final exit doorway. Opening the grand chest at the end officially completes the chamber requirements and adds a rare appearance upgrade to your inventory.
